Seizure Recognition and First Aid Certification for CHWs

In this 90-minute virtual training participants will learn how to:

1. Define seizures and epilepsy
2. Identify correct and incorrect steps for helping a person
   having a seizure
3. Identify when you should call emergency (911) in the event
   of a seizure
4. Increase confidence to help a person during a seizure

This training will provide a certification, valid for 2 years

We are encouraging all CHW attendees to wear the color purple! Purple honors Epilepsy Awareness Day, which will be the same day of the training March 26th.
