October 29 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
THURSDAY OCTOBER 29TH 11AM-12:30PM VIA ZOOM
This training will prepare Community Health Workers to recognize the signs and risks of silica exposure, understand the occupational and social inequities affecting countertop fabrication workers, and connect workers and their families to trusted health, workplace safety, and community resources. Participants will also explore the critical role CHWs can play in culturally and linguistically responsive outreach, education, early identification, advocacy, and prevention—helping ensure that workers most at risk have the information, resources, and support they need to protect their health.
