FGM/C Training for CHWs

In Partnership with Sahiyo and the HOPE MA Coalition – this training will provide Community Health Workers (CHWs) with foundational knowledge about Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C), including its health and social impacts, cultural considerations, and strategies for providing respectful, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive support. Participants will gain practical tools and knowledge to better recognize, understand, and respond to the needs of individuals and families affected by FGM/C.
CEUs will be provided for Certified CHWs (CCHWs) by MACHW.
