Resource Coordinator

The Outreach & Training Liaison will support two grant-funded programs for the New Bedford Health Department. The First Responder – Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act (FR-CARA) grant supports overdose prevention efforts by partnering with first responders, community agencies, and individuals at risk of experiencing or witnessing an overdose. The Training Hub grant supports local public health professionals in environmental health training. This position will focus on expanding outreach in multiple languages, providing harm-reduction education and resources, and coordinating the organization of Health Department outreach and training efforts.
