We are so thrilled for you all! Congratulations!

Community Impact

Leadership Opportunities

Join MACHW to Lead in Community Health

Lead in your community! Join MACHW to grow your confidence, help lead your MACHW chapter, or become a state-level advocate. We need Community Health Workers to serve on regional and state boards, commissions, or coalitions, or on MACHWA’s Advisory Board. We offer training and support!

Transformational Leadership

In partnership with the Boston Public Health Commission, MACHW hosts the Transformational Leadership learning community, a pilot cohort of community health workers working on applying leadership skills to community projects.

Through Transformational Leadership, CHWs:

  1. Build awareness by understanding their leadership style through the lens of equity.
  2. Role model assertive leadership while influencing others and making a difference in the communities they serve.
