• March 2024, U.S. Senator Bob Casey of PA introduced the S.3892 Community Health Worker Access Act to improve local health workers ability to bridge gaps in health outcomes by improving Medicare coverage for their services.
• MACHW is one of the 274 CHW networks, employers, and public health organizations that signed on to show support for this proposed legislation.
