    Statewide CHW Conference

    During the month of June, MACHW collaborates with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health to organize a yearly Statewide Community Health Worker (CHW) Conference. This event has traditionally served as a platform for CHWs across the Commonwealth to unite and celebrate our collective accomplishments. MACHW will keep you informed about future conferences and other opportunities for CHWs to connect, learn, and network.

    Policy Leadership Institute

    MACHW is partnering with Health Care for All to establish advocacy trainings, and an annual Policy Leadership Institute for CHWs interested in advocating for policy and practice changes. CHWs who complete the training will be connected to Boards of Health, Boards of Directors, Task Forces, or committees in their region seeking CHW representatives. 

    Participants will visit the State House, meet with their local representative, and draft a policy (legislative or organizational) that will promote/support the CHW workforce.
